The Draft

The draft was instituted in 1862 for the American Civil War. The draft was used to force ordinary people to join the war whether or not they believed in the war, whether or not they were in love, whether or not they desired for a different life, whether or no they had children, whether or not they wanted to fight for this country.
As of today it is said that the government has done away with the draft, having the military be strictly voluntary.
Then one must wonder, why, on the bottom of the motor vehicle license form does it say that all eligable males from the age of 18 through 25 must check the yes box or be denied their driving privelage. Instating that they can be drafted for any reason that the government may instate its use.
Creating a readily avaliable form,
Keeping tabs on everyone, .... isn't that right America?

Controversy

It's my thoughts I can't bear
A thoughtless Limitless time of despair
Unforgivable constant lies
Repetative blank eyes
How can we Rise unto this
Everyday hit or Miss
The creature that looks like Me
What we can All see

Law

With the Law we learn that it is not meant to be broken. With it comes great expression of Power, but where does that end? Two teens over the age of 18 are caught stealing beer from a multi-million dollar company, the company vs. these teens creates a tension between previous fate and current fate. The current fate leaves records charging with petit theft not from person> and possesion of alcohol under 21. Now the life is different, Records, kept by the governement for all of the life they could live, changing, nay creating a chain reaction, cause and affect of potentially future criminal activity because at a young age they became condemned by this government, other regular people, who deemed what they did to a company as so severly worng that they must be punished for the rest of their life. The Black Spot, the Brand, the Label, the Identity of a person, ruined.
